Air
Vigan can be reached via air through the Laoag International Airport. Flights are available daily via Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific. The airport is approximately 80 kilometers away from the Vigan City center. Airport transfer is available for a fee.

By bus
There are several options available and all have daily and hoursly trips to Vigan City. Just call their office contact details to get their daily schedule and book your trip.

By private car
The drive to Ilocos is a scenic drive that starts all the way from the North Luzon Expressway.
Directions from Manila
- Take the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and then SCTEX. Exit at the Tarlac exit.
- Go straight to Mac Arthur Highway.
- Keep driving through these towns of Tarlac: Tarlac City, Gerona. Then through the towns of Pangasinan: San Manuel, Rosales, Villasis, Urdaneta City and Sison. (If you pass a river called BUED River, you’re in the wrong direction).
- After the towns of Pangasinan, keep driving through the towns of La Union: Santo Tomas, Agoo, Aringay, Caba, Bauang, San Fernando City, San Juan and Bacnotan.
- Right after Bacnotan, you will see and cross a long bridge connecting La Union and Ilocos Sur.
- After you pass the bridge, you are now in Ilocos Sur. The first town is Tagudin – approximately 3 hours away from Vigan City.
- Keep driving through the other towns of Ilocos Sur from Tagudin – Sta Cruz, Sta Lucia, Candon, Santiago, San Esteban, Sta. Maria, Narvacan, Santa then Bantay.
- After Bantay, the next city is now Vigan City.
- As soon as you see the Petron Gas Station on your left and the La Caridad Church to your right, turn left to Quirino Boulevard. Go straight through Quirino Boulevard until you see a small junction. Keep driving until you reach Grandpa’s Inn. Turn right at the Grandpa’s Inn intersection. That will be Bonifacio St.
- Go straight to Plaridel St. You will cross Calle Crisologo and pass by the JTC Supermarket. My Vigan Home Hotel will be on your right.
